Universe
The complete list of cases of one type, submitted in a record layout, from which CMS tests and samples.
A universe is a table of all cases of a given type during the universe request period, such as all pre-service ODs or all grievances. ODAG has six universes (Tables 1-6). CMS runs timeliness tests at the universe level and draws its samples from the universes.
