Special Needs Plans Care Coordination (SNPCC)
The CMS program audit area that evaluates how a sponsoring organization coordinates care for its Special Needs Plan enrollees.
SNPCC is the program area covered by this protocol and data request. CMS evaluates performance against the SNPCC compliance standards in the protocol and the Program Audit Process Overview document. Its single audit element is Care Coordination, and CMS may review other related SNPCC requirements not specifically listed.
