RxNorm Concept Unique Identifier (RxCUI)
The RxNorm concept unique identifier for a drug. Impact analyses list affected medications at the RXCUI level.
Table 2IA has an RxCUI field (up to 10 characters) for the RxNorm concept unique identifier. Table 1IA lists affected medications at the RXCUI level (drug name, strength and dosage form). A subsequent paid claim is matched to the rejected one by the same RXCUI, GPI, GCN or HICL.
