Final action Prescription Drug Event (PDE)
A Part D prescription drug event record in its final-action state and accepted by CMS. FA Table 3 lists these.
Table 3 asks for all final action PDEs accepted by CMS in the review window. The NDC rules also refer to a paid claim's PDE: for multi-ingredient compound claims, the NDC is entered as it would be submitted on a paid claim's PDE. Each Table 3 record carries the enrollee, contract, PBP, NDC, date of service, quantity, days' supply and compound code.
