Audit engagement letter
The CMS letter that starts the audit; its date anchors the review period and the 15-business-day submission deadline.
Universes must cover all contracts and PBPs identified in the audit engagement letter and be submitted within 15 business days of its date. The review period is the 2-, 4-, 8- or 12-week period preceding and including the engagement letter date, depending on enrollment.
